Sky Scholfield (Wintu/Pit River/Wailaki)
With over fifteen years of experience creating for community and public organizations ranging from local to international, Sky Scholfield is a producer with direct experience in nearly all aspects of Television/Film/Radio/Podcast/Media Production.
Sky is also a long-time advocate for Indigenous People’s rights serving both as an advocate, and documentarian. As an advocate, he has served with community institutions like the L.I.F.E. Center (Local Indians for Education - Board Member) and international institutions like the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (Youth Caucus Chair). As a Documentarian, he strives to connect diverse communities through the power of approachable edutainment to help resolve threats to the natural environment and human conflict.
Sky is currently working with the Shasta County Arts Council on community media initiatives and is Project Director of “Culture Quest”, an original project designed by Sky to connect local Indigenous youth with elders in their community through the lens of multi-media production. He is also Producer of the Pit River Documentary.
